Advanced Aircrew Academy

Advanced Aircrew Academy was founded in 2006 by Dan Boedigheimer and William Hattler and lists its address as 800 Battery Avenue SE in Atlanta, Georgia; its August 2024 press release was datelined Charleston, South Carolina. In that release the company announced a growth investment from Harbour Grove, an aviation holding company whose partners Alvin Wong and Jordan Huibers became co-CEOs, with Boedigheimer moving to chief safety officer and Hattler to strategic advisor. Boedigheimer has chaired the NBAA Safety Committee. The academy is an IBAC Programme Support Affiliate for IS-BAO training, and NBAA accepts several of its modules for Certified Aviation Manager credit.

The catalog counts more than 120 modules (125 in the 2024 release) for pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, schedulers and dispatchers, office staff and line service technicians. Modules filed under line service include foreign object damage, a ground vehicle access program and occupational safety topics. Training runs on the ASCENT system from Aerostudies, with review questions every few pages, an exam pass mark typically set at 80%, automatic completion certificates and a supervisor login for progress and score records. Its Part 135 and IS-BAO programs are customized to the operator's own manuals. In October 2025 CAE began offering about 70 of its courses to CAE business-aviation customers.

For an FBO, the fit is online recurrent safety training for line and office staff from a provider whose main market is flight departments. Customization and the reporting system come with its Plus and Pro packages. The site has a checkout for individual purchases but does not publish package pricing on the pages reviewed. Named testimonials come from flight departments such as Target, Meijer and Parker Hannifin rather than from FBOs.
