Air bp

Air bp, established in 1926 and headquartered at bp's Sunbury-on-Thames campus outside London, says it sells fuel in over 40 countries at around 600 locations, fuelling more than 6,800 flights a day for some 400 airline customers and over 18,000 general-aviation customers, with more than 47,000 Sterling cards in circulation. Its Americas office is Air BP Americas at 30 S. Wacker in Chicago. Products are jet fuel, avgas — including unleaded UL91, cited at European fields — and sustainable aviation fuel.

For general aviation the proposition is the Sterling card: a no-fee, fuel-grade-specific ID card accepted at hundreds of bp locations worldwide with no pre-arrangement and self-serve machines at many fields, backed by the myairbp online account and ordering portal with 24/7 emergency fuel release and the safe2go overwing-refuelling app. Technical services cover terminal design, pipelines, hydrants and into-plane equipment. The site states no US branded-FBO network or location count; its last US general-aviation announcements were Sterling card acceptance at Signature Flight Support locations in 2015–2016.
