Aircraft Deicing Inc.

Aircraft Deicing Inc. sells deicing equipment, fluid and parts to the small end of the market — airports, FBOs, charter operators, flight schools and medevac — "serving US & Canada" on Central time (1-833-DEICING); its home page claims 20-plus years in business and 1,000-plus customers, but the site states no city or founding year and does not say whether it builds the carts (Honda GX160 engines) or assembles bought-in units.

The bundles run from a 3-gallon handheld and a 25-gallon starter kit to Professional kits built on 60- or 200-gallon carts and 60- or 110-gallon skids, plus Arctic deicing and three anti-icing tiers, starting at $1,415 with a claimed 25-ft vertical reach; immersion heaters are set to 120 °F on handhelds and up to 140 °F on carts. The fluids are propylene glycol with a two-year shelf life: Safewing MP I LFD 88 (Type I, AMS1424, concentrate or 55/45 RTU, freeze point −30 °F) and Safewing MP4 Launch (Type IV, AMS1428/ISO 11078, for aircraft with takeoff speeds of 85 kt or more, not below −20 °F), in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, 250-gallon totes and truckloads. Free consultation and sizing, plus guide pages on fluid basics and readiness.
