Arizona Business Aviation Association

The Arizona Business Aviation Association (AZBAA) lists a post office box in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is incorporated as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit. It says it was organized after NBAA's Reachback meeting at Scottsdale Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor in May 2000, and that it now represents more than 550 members, including corporate representatives, aviation professionals, individuals and students. Its mission is local education and activities that advance business aviation in Arizona. A volunteer board elected to staggered two-year terms governs it; Tim Vallowe is president for 2026–27, and the board posts its monthly meeting minutes on the site.

For FBOs in the Phoenix area, AZBAA's events put line and customer-service managers in front of the flight departments based there. Events in late 2026 include an open house and networking event with APS at Mesa-Gateway Airport on November 5, Safety Day on November 12 at Venue8600 in Scottsdale and a holiday party on December 10. The 24th Annual AZBAA Golf Benefit was held March 6, 2026 at the Westin Kierland Golf Club, after a sponsor and scholarship reception the night before in a hangar at Scottsdale Airport; Atlantic Aviation's Scottsdale location was among the companies supporting the day.

AZBAA awards $5,000 business aviation scholarships each spring and fall to Arizona residents and students; its list of eligible careers names FBO operations and management, and funds can go to degrees, flight and technical training, or NBAA's CAM program. Individual membership is $80 a year, corporate membership is $300 with up to three added named employees, and students join free. The site also has a careers page and a list of corporate members.
