BETA Fueling Systems

BETA Fueling Systems has built aviation refueling equipment since 1972, according to its home page, from 1209 Freeway Drive in Reidsville, North Carolina. Its about page reports more than 2,500 refueling units in service worldwide; the same page gives the company's age as more than 50 years in its text and more than 40 years in its description. The site does not name owners or executives, and its customer testimonials come from Spirit Airlines and Delta.

The commercial line comprises 3K, 5K, 7K and 10K refueler trucks (300 gpm on the 5K, 600 on the 7K, 800 on the 10K) on rigid or fifth-wheel chassis, built to NFPA 407 and ATA 103 with EI zoning and JIG as an option; a 450-gpm narrow-body hydrant cart and an 800-gpm self-propelled wide-body hydrant cart with a lift platform; hydrant dispenser trucks; fueling platforms; a Central Command Module; and aviation fueling modules. BETA also makes aluminum filtration vessels, mobile filtration carts and an R12 1,000-gpm military hydrant truck.

BETA's site addresses airline and military fuelers and does not mention FBOs, general aviation or avgas equipment, so it is most relevant to FBOs running hydrant systems or larger jet trucks. It sells spare parts and technical service, lists 24-hour support on its hydrant carts and quotes through a request form. It does not publish pricing, and the site offers no used-equipment or leasing program. Its hydrant carts carry aluminum vessels with a choice of filter water separator or filter monitor.
