D.W. Davies & Co., Inc., at 3200 Phillips Avenue in Racine, Wisconsin, was founded in 1951 by David W. Davies and incorporated in 1956; it describes itself as a specialty chemical supplier with more than 400 products and direct, hands-on field service, with chemists available by phone and in person.

For the ramp it sells Safewing MP I LFD 88 Type I as a concentrate (5-gal pail, $191.25, with a dilution chart) and as a 55:45 RTU (freeze point −26 °F, $112.45), Safewing MP4 Launch Type IV (5-gal pail $158.50, not below −20 °F), both propylene glycol to AMS1424/AMS1428 with drums on call, and TKS fluid meeting DTD 406-B in 1-gallon cases, 2×2.5-gallon packs and 5-gallon pails ($67–$142, hazmat fee on some sizes) with conductivity meters, hydrometers and thermometers for field testing available on request. Safe-Melt Granular (AMS1431, to 0 °F) and Safe-Melt Liquid (AMS1435, to −20 °F) are its glycol-free runway deicers, alongside Aircraft Boot Anti-Icer 100 and the Klear-to-Land and Aero-Kleen cleaners.
