Delta Airport Consultants

Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. is a full-service airport consulting firm that says it has completed thousands of projects for hundreds of clients over more than 40 years, for airports from general aviation to large hub commercial service. Its corporate headquarters is in Richmond, Virginia, and it lists eight U.S. locations, including Charlotte, Raleigh, Cleveland, Albuquerque and Oklahoma City. Courtney A. Beamon, P.E., is president and Charles D. Lamb, P.E., is director; several vice presidents are Certified Members of AAAE.

Its Business + Financial Planning practice covers airline lease negotiation and leasing policies, business and financial modeling, strategic planning, rates and charges studies, minimum standards and rules and regulations, land use analysis, peer benchmarking, airport facility and service assessments, and safety programs including SMS. Planning, environmental, engineering, construction administration and program management make up the rest of its services. For general aviation sponsors the firm lists feasibility studies and grant administration, and its named general aviation projects include strategic, business and marketing plans for Winchester Regional Airport and runway and apron work at Los Alamos, Virginia Highlands, Mansfield Lahm Regional, Prescott Municipal and Chester County.

Delta's site does not describe FBO-specific services. Its relevance to an FBO is on the airport-sponsor side, where minimum standards, rates and charges and lease policy set the terms an FBO operates under.
