IdeaStudio Branding and Marketing was founded in 1978 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a general graphic design firm, became a branding and marketing specialist in 2000 and later moved into aviation. Lori Walderich, a commercial and tailwheel-rated pilot, has owned and operated it since 1998. The firm calls itself the first firm of its kind to focus on branding and marketing for general aviation airports and serves clients across the United States. Walderich wrote From Idle to Iconic, which the site describes as the first book dedicated to branding for general aviation airports.
