IdentiSys

IdentiSys Inc. was founded in 1999 and is based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. It describes itself as North America's largest identification and security solutions provider and says it has served more than 100,000 customers. Its divisions include Gebco of Hawaii, ID Connection, CardSmart Systems, Card Solutions, Inland Business Products, Photo I.D. Systems & Supplies, LINSTAR, Automated Card Systems, ACS East and Identification And Security Integrators. Founder and chairman Mike Shields previously led a Datacard business unit; Michael Shields II has been president and CEO since October 2015. Local sales and service staff cover about 30 states.

Its transportation pages name airports, hangars and airline personnel among the facilities it serves. For credentialing it builds employee ID badge systems, typically a card printer, ID software and a photo-capture camera, that can print photo IDs, airport employee credentials, contractor and vendor badges, and RFID or smart-card access credentials, plus mobile credentials. On the security side it installs access control for terminals, hangars and maintenance areas, video surveillance, alarm and intrusion detection, electronic door locks and AI weapon detection. RFID, barcode and personnel-tracking tools round out the offer.

IdentiSys runs an online store with list prices; its homepage on the date checked showed card printers such as the Evolis Primacy 2 SE Duplex at $2,595.00 and the IDP SOLID-310 LE Duplex at $2,190.00. Integrated security and custom badge systems are quoted. Local technicians handle installation, repair, maintenance and training for both badge systems and security systems, with depot repair where it applies, and an online supplies finder matches ribbons and cards to installed printers. A downloadable transportation market sheet summarizes the airport offer. The site does not name airport customers, so FBOs should ask for references at airports similar to theirs.
