MacPherson Aviation Audits

MacPherson Aviation Audits International is a Vancouver, British Columbia consultancy led by founder and lead auditor Stewart MacPherson. It describes its business as FBO operations consulting, IS-BAH preparation and IS-BAH audits for business aviation ground handling providers, flight departments and airports. MacPherson has worked in FBO operations since 1984, from line-crew technician to senior manager of a major Vancouver FBO that became the first Canadian IS-BAH registered site at the time. He is an accredited IS-BAH auditor with a Stage 3 credential, and the firm says he was the inaugural chair of the IS-BAH Standards Board.

Services are IS-BAH preparation, in which an FBO builds the procedures it needs before the audit; the IS-BAH audit itself, scheduled once the FBO is ready; safety audits for airports and companies; and WYVERN Wingman FBO audits, a one-day virtual annual audit focused on SMS and training that MacPherson performs for WYVERN. The firm says he conducted the first Stage 3 IS-BAH audit in the world, the first Stage 2 audit in North America and the first virtual IS-BAH audit, and that he works with a team of auditors under IBAC rules.

The site lists more than 50 business partners, including Sheltair, Signature Flight Support, Sonoma Jet, Keystone Aviation, Clay Lacy and ExecuJet and Jetex locations in several countries, and publishes testimonials from staff at ExecuJet, Jetex, Skystream Jet and HeliFlite Shares. Prices are quoted on request.
