Mvix

Mvix is an enterprise digital signage company headquartered in Sterling, Virginia, and says its story began in 2005. It sells signage players, a cloud content management system, video walls, kiosks and installation services across many industries, and it offers flight information displays for airports. It is a general signage vendor, not an aviation specialist.

Its FBO work is documented in a case study for Cutter Aviation, a family-owned FBO operator with locations at eight airports in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Texas. Cutter installed Mvix signage in seven of the eight locations: six Xhibit 4K networkable players and five Xhibit signage kits. Content includes images, high-resolution video and material pulled from Cutter's own website, and the Arizona location manages the whole network and sends customized content and schedules to each site.

For an FBO, the model is ownership rather than ad sales. Players are a one-time purchase, listed at $450, $550 and $750 by tier, and the cloud software license that comes with them is free. Mvix does not run an advertising network or publish a revenue share. The Cutter case study does not mention flight information displays, and Mvix's separate FIDS product page is written for airports and hotels without referring to FBOs.
