National Car Rental

National Car Rental runs a General Aviation and FBO Services program that it offers jointly with Enterprise. The program says it covers thousands of general aviation airports and FBOs across North America, with more than 300 makes and models including luxury sedans and premium SUVs. The program pages do not give a corporate headquarters or founding details. Travelers need an Emerald Club membership, which holds their license and payment details.

Bookings work by request rather than online self-service. The requester gives the traveler, arrival time, FBO and vehicle preference; a team of general aviation specialists makes the reservation and contacts the requester only if changes are needed; a confirmation follows by email within 24 hours; and the car is waiting at the FBO on arrival. Assistants, travel coordinators and flight crew can submit requests for a traveler, and the confirmation goes to whoever booked. National recommends requesting at least 24 hours before arrival. Within 24 hours, changes and cancellations go through a dedicated FBO support line staffed 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Central, seven days a week. Rates are not published on the program pages.
