Nimbl

Nimbl lists its office at 700 King Farm Boulevard in Rockville, Maryland, and says it was founded in 1996, starting with one international operations manual for one operator. The aviationmanuals.com domain now forwards to Nimbl's site, and its LinkedIn page still carries the AviationManuals name. Nimbl says more than 4,000 operators worldwide use it, mainly business aviation flight departments, management companies, owner-operators, FBOs and drone operators, and it publishes an annual safety report built from its users' data. Its press page notes a 2026 Fast Company World Changing Ideas award.

Nimbl's FBO page says it is an accredited IS-BAH Programme Support Affiliate with IBAC and offers handlers three things: a Ground Handling Operations Manual covering SMS, environmental, occupational, facility, ramp and security procedures; an SMS add-on that expands an existing operations manual with the tools and forms to implement it; and a configurable SMS software platform for managing safety data. Nimbl writes the procedures to fit the location, monitors regulatory changes and best practices, and revises the manuals itself. It also publishes guidance on building an emergency response plan for flight departments, drone operators and FBOs.

Across all operators Nimbl sells three packages: Nimbl Essential for regulatory monitoring and manual updates, Nimbl Safety for SMS tools and expert support, and Nimbl Complete, which combines procedures, manuals and SMS software in one managed program. It does not publish pricing; buyers start with the contact form, which asks for the aircraft registry and whether the inquirer is already a customer. An FBO pursuing IS-BAH can use Nimbl for the manual and SMS work and a separate accredited auditor for the audit.
