Ohio Regional Business Aviation Association

The Ohio Regional Business Aviation Association (ORBAA) promotes business aviation in Ohio and describes itself as loosely affiliated with NBAA. It is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit with an address on Norwich Street in Hilliard, Ohio. Its work rests on three pillars: business aviation advocacy, workforce development, and training and education. ORBAA says its core leadership has worked with Ohio's collegiate aviation programs since 2008 to teach students about business aviation, a subject it says is not part of normal collegiate curricula. The site does not give a founding date or name officers on its public pages.

The 2026 ORBAA Annual Conference on November 19 at The Peak in Gahanna is a full day of sessions with breakfast, lunch and a closing happy hour; members pay $100 through September 30, then $125, and nonmembers $175. Sponsorships run from $100 to sponsor a student up to $2,500 for lunch or the social hour, a common entry point for an FBO or fuel supplier. Workforce work includes classroom presentations, visits to business aviation operations, internship development and annual scholarships; one past recipient, a Kent State student working as a ramp agent and in line service, received $10,000.

Membership is $350 a year for corporate members with ten or more employees ($325 with automatic renewal), $250 for small businesses with up to nine employees, $75 for individuals, and $2,500 for a corporate sponsor level; a student level is also listed. ORBAA points members to further development through NBAA seminars and other programs, and it sells sponsorships for individual events throughout the year. For an FBO in Columbus, Cincinnati or Cleveland, the annual conference is, in ORBAA's own words, its biggest event of the year, and sponsoring a student is the lowest-cost way to be seen there.
