The ramp, on the record.

Phillips 66 Aviation

The refiner in the branded-FBO business: Phillips 66 refines jet fuel at nine sites and avgas at three (40% of US avgas), supplies 800+ branded FBOs with refinery-direct Jet A, 100LL and X/C lubricants, and runs the Contract Fuel Program, Wings Card, WingPoints, TrustedFuel training and refueler leasing.

About Phillips 66 Aviation

Phillips 66 Aviation is the aviation division of Phillips 66, the Houston refiner, and calls itself the only refiner in the branded aviation space — it refines jet fuel at nine locations and avgas at three and says it produces 40% of the avgas in the US market. Its branded network is described as the largest in the country, with the Wings Card accepted at more than 800 Phillips 66 Aviation-branded FBOs; the products are Jet A, 100LL (ASTM D910), Phillips 66 X/C and other piston-engine oils and hydraulic fluids, and SAF as book-and-claim certificates produced at the Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex. The site says it is developing a next-generation unleaded avgas but names no product.

The Contract Fuel Program is pitched as the simplest in the business: no fees or minimum volume, no cards or fuel releases, weekly pricing files, invoices on the 15th and 30th through the Gateway portal, more than 140 fuel providers, open to Part 91, 121, 125, 135 and 137 operators — and on the FBO side Phillips 66 takes the card risk and fees and reimburses within one to two days. The Wings Card (no annual fee, 7,600-plus locations, airPortfolio online management), an Aviation Personal Credit Card, WingPoints rewards (double points with the card), $1-per-gallon Young Eagles and Compassion Flights rebates and the Young Eagles Leadership Award round out the operator side.

Branded dealers get refinery-direct supply with price and freight equalization, site inspections within 90 days of branding and every two years after, the TrustedFuel.com training portal and no-cost hands-on training ten times a year, access to NATA Safety 1st and ACE courses, the Safe Sky Award, $50 million excess liability coverage, the Aviation Excellence Incentive fund for refreshing branding and promoting fuel quality, refueler lease and lease-to-own (1,000-gallon avgas and 3,000- and 5,000-gallon jet trucks with maintenance plans and loaners), free decal sets, digital and print marketing campaigns, and a choice of EPOS devices — AvPOS, Ingenico, QT Pod, FuelMaster, FBO360 and X-1FBO. World Fuel also offers the Phillips 66 flag through its FBO Network.
