Prime Appearance

Prime Appearance is the general aviation appearance business of PrimeFlight Aviation Services, which its own press releases place in Sugar Land, Texas, and which is owned by The Sterling Group and Capitol Meridian Partners. Its roots run through a string of deals published on its newsroom: PrimeFlight bought Sharp Details in June 2018, then Appearance Group of Wichita, Clean Before Flight assets, Jet Fast, Flight Wash assets, Elite Aero Services, Signature's former Meridian detailing assets at Teterboro, and, in November 2025, Immaculate Flight, whose domain now redirects here. Its about page cites 750 employees and 15 combined companies. Charlotte Cheatham is executive vice president and chief operating officer.

The locations page lists 51 airports from Fort Worth Alliance to Van Nuys, many with mobile coverage of nearby fields. Exterior work covers complete and partial dry-wash wipe-downs, wet washing at select locations, waxing, Teflon and reactive-polymer paint protection including Permagard (it is a certified applicator with a five-year program), brightwork buff and polish, and deice boot stripping and polishing. Interior work covers full details, quick departure cleans, leather conditioning and restoration, carpet extraction and an antimicrobial treatment. A flight department support line adds based crews and aircraft stocking.

Prime Appearance works by request form and custom programs for owners, charter operators, fractionals, OEM delivery centers and MROs. Its quality page says every team member passes a 10-year background check and joins an FAA-compliant drug and alcohol testing program, and that the company carries comprehensive insurance. It also sells its own chemical line, Aviation Cleaning Supply, with case prices published on its ACS page, such as $60 for 12 bottles of ACS CC-100 glass cleaner. It does not publish detailing prices. Its own pages give different reach figures: more than 50 airports, more than 165, and 200 served.
