Private Flight

Private Flight Switzerland AG is a software company in Zug, Switzerland, that runs a cloud-based in-flight catering management platform. Founder and CEO Richard Pryor, a private-aviation professional, started it after handling catering manually for VIP clients, and the company says it began proving the concept in 2008. Its customers include royal and government fleets, including military, aircraft management and charter companies, and cargo carriers. It describes itself as a Swiss software-as-a-service company.

The platform connects buyers to a supply network of more than 2,000 in-flight caterers, airline caterers with VIP branches, hotels and restaurants in more than 175 countries. Users compare pre-priced menu items, customize menus, place and track orders and pay through one process, with invoice pre-screening and financial reporting. Plans cover royal and government operations with a tactical operations team and on-location support, managed and charter fleets with unlimited users and 24/7 order monitoring, freelance cabin crew, and automated crew-meal ordering for cargo airlines. Published pricing: the Cabin Crew plan for freelance flight attendants and pilots costs $10 per month on its Plans page; fleet and government plans are quoted on request. Silver Lining and Absolute Taste appear among caterer testimonials on its Partners page.
