RPD Services

RPD Services, which also trades as RPD Truck Services, operates from 1790 16th Street SE in Salem, Oregon. It is a heavy-duty diesel repair shop offering roadside service, towing, DOT inspections, clean-air compliance and fabrication, with a specialty in aviation refuelers, and its mechanics claim more than 75 years of combined experience. It keeps weekday hours and a secured yard with 24-hour access. The site does not give a founding year or name owners.

Its refueler page describes a full-service aviation refueler facility that repairs, refurbishes and designs refuelers and sells new, used and refurbished units. Work includes re-chassis jobs, overhaul of system components, pre-purchase inspections, system and tank evaluations, filter and hose replacement, paint and decals, welding and emergency repairs, plus in-service sessions on new trucks. Mobile crews service tank farms, hydrant carts and Jet A and avgas trucks on site across the western US, and RPD says it is the only facility in the western United States with full-flow testing. It also offers no-contact virtual troubleshooting.

RPD pitches its parts, service and scheduling at FBOs that need help keeping refueler fleets running. It is an authorized dealer for Hannay Reels, Hewitt aviation fueling products, Total Control Systems, Gammon Technical Products and Fjord Aviation Products, along with OPW and Tiger Tools, so the same shop can supply nozzles, hoses, grounding cables, filters and meters. RPD does not publish pricing or a list of units for sale; buyers contact the shop for quotes.
