Senstar

Senstar Corporation lists its address in Ottawa, Ontario and says its products have protected sites for more than 40 years. It reports more than 50,000 kilometers of installed perimeter intrusion detection, over 25,000 video management deployments and products in use in more than 100 countries. Senstar runs three research and development centers and what it calls the largest private test facility of its kind. It says it sells only what it manufactures, so it can customize and service its own systems. Its investor pages carry quarterly reports and SEC filings.

For airports, Senstar offers fence-mounted intrusion sensors in cable and fiber-optic versions, buried sensors for unfenced areas, and the LM100, a combined intrusion detection and perimeter lighting system that it says is International Dark-Sky compliant and suitable near runways. The Symphony video, security and information management system adds analytics for outdoor people and vehicle tracking, left-object detection, face recognition and crowd counting, and Senstar also sells access control. Its transportation page names entrances, checkpoints, parking, cargo areas, runways and taxiways as zones it covers, and links a case study about an airport intruder it calls the Shoeless Bandit.

Senstar works through integrators and partners and does not publish pricing. It provides support through multiple service centers around the world. Most of its transportation material is aimed at large hubs, but the fence sensors and LM100 apply to any airfield perimeter, and Senstar says Symphony keeps server counts low, a claim it bases on deployments at large international airports.
