South Texas Business Aviation Association

The South Texas Business Aviation Association (STXBAA) is a nonprofit created by business aviation professionals to give South Texas companies that operate aircraft as a business tool, and the companies that service those aircraft, a platform for education, advocacy and networking. It works across the Austin, Houston and San Antonio areas and does not state a headquarters address. Its board leans toward the FBO and service side: co-founder and chair Jodie Kaluza and treasurer Maria Perdomo Cuevas are both with Million Air, and directors include people from Henriksen Jet Center, Universal Weather and Aviation, World Fuel Services, Higginbotham and Lockton.

The 2026 calendar shows what members get: networking social hours at Million Air Houston, in San Antonio and in Austin; a Safety Day in Austin in April and another STXBAA Safety Day in August; the 2026 STXBAA Golf Classic on May 14 at the Bandit Golf Course in New Braunfels, run with Higher Vets to support veterans moving into business aviation careers; and the 4th Annual Eric Grace Memorial Clay Shoot on November 5, 2026 in Houston. Through its Vision 2027 initiative the association is organizing what it calls the first statewide Texas business aviation conference, planned for Austin in mid-2027.

Membership is aimed at people who earn at least half their income from business aviation, including staff of companies that sell equipment or services to business aircraft operators. Corporate membership is $250 a year for up to six people and Corporate Unlimited is $400; individual, associate and student levels are also offered, and event sponsorships are sold separately. A scholarship program and a mentor-matching service are listed, with scholarship details posted when applications open. The association's site runs on Wild Apricot, and the stxbaa.org address now serves it directly.
