Swift Fuels

Swift Fuels, at 1435 Win Hentschel Boulevard in West Lafayette, Indiana, produces the two unleaded avgas grades an FBO can buy today. UL94 (ASTM D7547) has been produced and sold solely by Swift from its Indiana fuel facility since 2015, is sold nationwide and in selected international locations, and requires an STC on the aircraft; 100R (ASTM D8603), its 100-octane replacement for 100LL, has been commercially available at US sites since September 2025, with Swift expecting more than 100 US airfields to adopt it over the coming months and over 300 airfields actively deployed by the end of 2027 (its July 2026 transition plan). Swift says it has sold over 5.8 million gallons of unleaded avgas to airports, FBOs, private users and flight schools, and also lists a Swift Jet aromatics product.

Buying is direct or through a network: anyone can order UL94 from Swift's online order form for a quote and shipping arrangements, and Avfuel distributes UL94 through its branded network. The operational rule Swift states plainly is that UL94 must be stored in an airport tank independent of 100LL — the tank, not the fuel, is the FBO's real adoption decision.
