Tammy Edmonds Design

Tammy Edmonds Design (teD) is a full-service architecture, planning and interior design studio founded and led by Tammy Edmonds, its CEO and creative director. Its contact page gives an office on East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California, while its homepage places the studio in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles. The studio says it has served clients since 2004 and is certified as a small, disadvantaged and woman-owned business by several agencies. Alongside aviation it designs restaurants, hospitality venues and private residences.

teD says its core business has been general aviation and FBO development, describing about 15 years of aviation projects. Its documented flagship is Landmark Aviation's West Coast FBO campus at San Diego: a new 19,000 square foot terminal, a 250,000 square foot ramp and five multi-plane hangars on a 12.4-acre brownfield site, valued at $43 million and completed in 2014, with LEED Platinum set as the goal for the whole campus. teD served as design architect and handled interior design, programming, site planning, a public art commission and furniture procurement and installation. The terminal won an IIDA Calibre award in 2015.

Services relevant to FBOs include concept design, branding for general aviation terminals, furniture, fixtures and equipment procurement and installation, and terminal and hangar architecture. The site documents only one completed FBO project in detail, and a project tile labeled Signature Aviation currently opens an unrelated residential page, so buyers should ask for a current aviation reference list. The studio also lists airport concession concept work, including a European-style bakery and cafe brand for terminals. Fees are not published, and inquiries go through the studio's contact page.
