Telos Aviation Channeling Services

Telos Corporation lists its headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia. Its history page says the company was founded in Santa Monica, California and incorporated in Maryland in 1971, began as a software supplier to military customers, and contributed telemetry and imaging software to the Voyager mission. Today it sells cybersecurity, compliance and identity services, including TSA PreCheck enrollment and the aviation channeling service profiled here. Telos says its Aviation Channeling Services was the first third-party channeling service the TSA approved for operation, and that more than 100 airports and airlines use it.

Channeling is the step between an airport's badge office and TSA. The Telos web portal sends fingerprints and enrollment data for security threat assessments, criminal history record checks and Rap Back enrollment, and accepts slap, flat and rolled prints from most live-scan fingerprint systems. Badge offices can attach I-9s and right-to-work documents, submit the CHRC and the threat assessment together, and pull custom reports and exports. Telos says the modular portal can connect to an airport's other badging, physical security and personnel systems, and it offers aviation security policy expertise and advocacy.

The customers are airport operators and air carriers; FBO and tenant employees reach the service through the airport's badge office, not as direct accounts. Telos does not publish prices but promotes clear monthly bills with no reserve account, 24/7 customer care and technical support, and scheduling and authorized-signatory tools for badge offices; airports already using another channeler can switch. Its partners page has a General Aviation section, but the customer list loads dynamically and could not be read for this listing.
