Tronair

Toledo-area GSE maker (founded 1971 as Danair; owns Eagle Tugs, Columbus Jack and Malabar) whose ice-and-rain line is the FBO-scale deicing gear: 275-gal stationary dolly deicers in five voltages, 55-gal dolly and mobile carts, a 2.5-gal hand-carried unit and the TKS reservoir service unit; sold through its network and resellers such as Pilot John.

About Tronair

Tronair, in a 300,000-sq-ft facility at Toledo Express Airport in Swanton, Ohio, was founded in 1971 as Danair and renamed in 1979; it owns Eagle Tugs, Columbus Jack and Malabar International and names OEMs, FBOs, MROs, corporate hangars, airlines and the military as customers, served through a global service-center and distribution network.

Its ATA-30 ice-and-rain catalog is the cart-scale end of the deicing market: 275-gallon stationary dolly-mount deicers in 208-, 240- (single and three-phase), 415- and 480-VAC versions, 55-gallon dolly-mount deicers, a 55-gallon (208-L) mobile deicer cart for Type I only, a 2.5-gallon hand-carried deicer and the TKS Reservoir Service Unit for topping up weeping-wing aircraft. Tronair does not sell TKS fluid itself and lists no heaters; pricing is on quote, and Pilot John is a named reseller with rental and financing.
