Vestergaard Company A/S, at Skullebjerg 31 in Roskilde, Denmark, was founded in 1962 as Ingeniørfirmaet G. Vestergaard and remains family-owned under CEO Stefan Vestergaard; it reported record FY2024/25 revenue of just over DKK 1.3 billion with 500-plus employees and acquired tractor maker Kalmar Motor in 2022. Its North American subsidiary, Vestergaard Company Inc. at 1903 W. IL Route 120 in McHenry, Illinois, was established in 1997 and sells, services and distributes equipment and parts across the continent with a 33-person US team.

The Elephant deicer range is positioned for international, regional, FBO, business-aviation, military and cargo airports. The smallest units are the fully electric e-Mini MY Lite — 4,000 litres in separate Type I and Type II/IV tanks on a 12-ton electric chassis, electric or diesel heater, aircraft up to 757/767, "standardised, off-the-shelf" for rapid delivery — and the open-basket MY Lite (7,600 L, optional one-man operation) and e-MY Lite (70 or 140 kWh battery). The configurable MY, the 12–14-m BETA boom deicers (nozzle reach to 22.6 m), the BETA-15 and the e-BETA hybrid and fully electric (launched September 2025) serve larger airports, and the GRV recovers glycol by sweeper and screw conveyor into a 12,000-litre tank. OPTIM-ICE assisted-deicing automation was shown at GSE Expo in September 2026. Service runs through a customer portal, 20,000-plus OEM parts with same-day packing, the Vestergaard Academy and maintenance programs; pricing and leasing are not published.
