Vitol Aviation

Vitol Aviation Inc. is the aviation arm of the Vitol energy group, with Vitol's US office at 3425 West Alabama Street in Houston. In April 2024 it announced, with General Aviation Modifications Inc. (GAMI), that G100UL — the first FAA-approved 100-octane unleaded avgas — was commercially available, with Vitol's president John Addison saying the company was the first to offer G100UL to the entire US aviation market and inviting any airport or aviation fuel distributor to order it (avgas@vitol.com). Santa Clara County contracted with Vitol to make Reid-Hillview the first US airport to carry it, and GAMI's availability map now lists sites in California, Mississippi and Texas.

Beyond avgas, Vitol Aviation supplies jet fuel into-wing at 45 airport locations across Europe, the United States and a growing African network, oriented to commercial operators; general-aviation Jet A supply to FBOs is not stated. For an FBO, Vitol is the route to G100UL — GAMI itself licenses production and sells the aircraft STCs rather than fuel.
