Westmor Industries

Westmor Industries is headquartered at 3 Development Drive in Morris, Minnesota. Its history begins in 1972, when brothers Robert and Larry Kleespie bought a Morris blacksmith shop; they formed Kleespie Tank & Petroleum Equipment in 1979, which became Westmor Industries in 2001. The company entered aviation in 2012 by acquiring Determan Brownie of Hugo, Minnesota, and later added Advanced Tank Systems (2016) and Metzler Brothers (2023). It lists nine locations, including Shawnee, Kansas, and more than 500 team members, and also serves c-store, fuel-delivery, terminal and propane markets. Current ownership is not stated.

The aviation line covers commercial and general aviation. Jet refuelers run 3,000 to 7,000 gallons with 300 gpm underwing and 50 gpm overwing, aluminum or stainless tanks, EI 1581 filter separators and NFPA 407 and ATA-103 compliance; avgas refuelers run 750 to 3,000 gallons at 35 gpm overwing with electric, hydraulic or PTO pump options. Westmor also builds GSE refuelers with single or dual compartments and dual electric pumps for gasoline and diesel, fuel cabinets, custom fuel and defuel bowsers, towable hydrant carts up to 450 gpm, hydrant servicers up to 800 gpm, refueling ladders and meter provers.

Each unit is tested before shipping, and Westmor sells parts, maintenance, repair and technical support for its equipment. Spec sheets for the jet and avgas refuelers are downloadable, and a stock-inventory page lists ready units. Its range spans the small avgas truck a GA field needs and the hydrant equipment an airline ramp uses, so an FBO with a mixed fleet can buy jet, avgas and GSE fueling units from one builder.
