AirPlx is standalone hangar and ramp planning software, and it is unusually plain about what it is not: “AirPlx doesn't sell fuel, run a POS, or keep your customer ledger,” its FBO page says, naming FBO One and Total FBO as the systems it sits beside. The company describes itself as bootstrapped and independently operated, with an origin story that starts with a founder planning that night's hangar in Microsoft Paint. Named customers include Jet Aviation Milwaukee, which reports a 10% lift in nightly hangar revenue, Duncan Aviation, and Port City Air, a five-hangar FBO handling C-17 and NATO traffic.

The core is a live 3D view of every hangar and ramp area — occupancy, arrivals, departures, and remaining capacity — with an automated layout generator called AutoStack and real-time conflict detection across more than 1,000 manufacturer-verified aircraft models. Ramp features include aircraft-specific tow checklists, per-airframe steering-limit enforcement, movement logging, and photographic damage documentation searchable by tail number. AirPlx Mobile handles tow checklists, walkarounds, and damage reports on the ramp; a desktop and tablet Base View is used for planning and monitoring.

Arrivals feed in from ADS-B tracking with FAA flight-plan data, from FlightBridge trip sync, or by manual entry. Nightly occupancy reports and a report builder export every stay, position, and tenant as billing-ready data, and a single account can hold unlimited hangars, ramp areas, and bases with portfolio-level reporting for multi-location operators.
