About Aviation Search Group
Aviation Search Group is an aviation-only recruiting firm based in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. Aviation professionals founded it in late 1999, and it took its current name in March 2010. In July 2025 it announced it had become a LAUNCH company following an acquisition.
The firm offers retained executive search, recruiting-process outsourcing programs and direct-hire placement. Its segments include airlines, corporate flight departments, charter operators, flight training, MRO and FBOs, manufacturers, defense, rotor wing and eVTOL. Roles run from VPs and directors of aviation, operations and maintenance to chief pilots, schedulers, dispatchers, A&P mechanics and avionics technicians, with FBO and airport listed as expertise areas. A 2022 release covers an airport manager placement at Butler County Airport Authority.
Aviation Search Group names FBOs as a segment but does not publish FBO client names or fees. It markets a nationwide candidate network and is the most FBO-relevant of the executive-search firms for GM and leadership searches.
