Florida Airports Council

The Florida Airports Council (FAC) was established in October 1969 as the Florida Airport Managers Association and keeps a full-time presence on East College Avenue in Tallahassee. Its stated mission is to advocate, educate and promote the collective interests of Florida's airport industry; it represents all 21 of Florida's commercial-service airports, more than 70 publicly owned general aviation airports, Cecil Airport as a spaceport and Tavares Seaplane Base, plus more than 300 corporate, educational, associate and student members, and works closely with FDOT, the Governor's Office and state agencies.

FAC's year runs through three recurring events that matter to Florida FBOs and their vendors: the State Fly-In to Tallahassee each February, the Education & Training Summit each May, and the Annual Conference & Exposition each July (58th edition Jul 25–27, 2027 at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek). An Education Foundation supports workforce development.
