Jet Aviation Staffing

Jet Aviation Staffing, LLC is the staffing service of Jet Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics with more than 4,500 employees at 50 locations worldwide. Jet Aviation began offering tailored recruitment for business aviation in 1996, and a March 2026 release marking 30 years of the service is datelined Teterboro, New Jersey. Elaine Lapotosky is vice president of staffing.

The unit offers permanent and direct-hire placement, temporary and freelance placement, Payroll Plus payroll and HR services, and outplacement. Permanent searches cover technical, operations, sales and executive roles, while temporary assignments cover flight crew, hourly and administrative staff, with the client supervising on site. Its Staffing Marketplace, a web portal and mobile app for job seekers, employers and staffing agencies, lists pilots, cabin crew, maintenance technicians and customer service roles.

Employers submit hiring needs through an online staffing request form. The Marketplace has a Standard tier for searching resumes and inviting candidates, and a Premium tier that adds onboarding and payroll for temporary employees, including employer tax handling. Jet Aviation also operates FBOs and lists FBO services among its own offerings, so FBOs hiring through the unit are working with a firm whose parent competes in the same market. Jet Aviation does not name staffing clients or publish rates.
