LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is headquartered at 814 Commerce Drive in Oak Brook, Illinois, and was founded in 2011. It calls itself the world's largest workforce solution for the aviation industry and says it supports teams and clients in more than 400 locations worldwide. Growth came through LAUNCH Avionics, LAUNCH Professional and acquisitions that include Aviation Managed Solutions, PlaneTechs and TransTechs, with investment from Argentum and CMP and a joint venture with Delta Air Lines.

Aviation staffing is its lead vertical, covering MRO and airline roles (A&P, structures, avionics, interiors, paint, inspection) and OEM and manufacturing trades. LAUNCH also operates Aviation TEAMS mobile repair crews, a Modification & Training Center, a Part 145 repair station and supplier solutions. Outside aviation it staffs ground-transportation technicians, including airport ground service equipment mechanics, and professional roles such as engineering and program management.

FBOs, line service and business aviation are not named as markets; the firm is oriented toward airlines, MROs and manufacturers. An FBO with a maintenance shop or ground-equipment fleet is the closest fit, through A&P and avionics contract staffing and GSE mechanics. LAUNCH does not publish pricing.
