SUN 'n FUN

SUN 'n FUN Fly-In, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, produces the SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo at Lakeland Linder International Airport, 3875 W. Pipkin Road, in Lakeland, Florida. The event began in 1974 as a fly-in for sport aviation enthusiasts. Proceeds support the Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE), a STEM and aerospace education organization whose programs reach more than 50,000 students a year and whose campus includes the Florida Air Museum.

The Expo is held each April and is described as Florida's largest annual convention of any kind, with more than 200,000 guests and a trade show of more than 500 aviation-focused exhibitors, alongside airshows, workshops, forums, a career fair and STEM activities. Indoor exhibit space is in four 20,000-square-foot hangars in 10x10 and 10x20 foot booths. Outdoor spaces run from about 100 to 10,000 square feet across themed areas that include Manufacturers Display, Innovation Showcase and the Flight Tech Center.

Exhibitors complete an online exhibit space application. Only companies with aviation-based products, services or aircraft are accepted, and aviation companies are placed first. Returning exhibitors submit contracts and payment by mid-September, and assignments for new and waitlisted exhibitors follow from October. SUN 'n FUN does not post booth prices on its exhibitor page.
