VP Aviation
VP Aviation Technical Services, a Clearwater, Florida maintenance-technician staffing firm operating since 1993, supplies A&P, avionics and structures mechanics and AOG mobile response teams to MROs, OEMs and airlines.
About VP Aviation
VP Aviation Technical Services is based at 28059 US Highway 19 North in Clearwater, Florida, and has provided aircraft maintenance technicians since 1993. It is owned by Mike Chally, who leads customer relationships and sales, and Benji Farr, a mechanic by background who is VP of Technical Operations and runs the Mobile Response Teams. The firm calls itself mechanic-first.
Its core product is technician staffing on temporary, contract and permanent terms, in A&P, structures, avionics, interior, paint and composites categories. It also fields Mobile Response Teams for AOG recovery and for special projects such as conversions and modifications, and these teams deploy worldwide. Customers cited are MROs, OEMs, airlines and repair stations.
FBOs, line service and business aviation are not named as markets. An FBO with a maintenance shop or an aircraft stranded on its ramp is the natural fit, through AOG response and contract A&P staff. VP Aviation does not publish pricing; employers use the contact and sales team listed on the site.
