X-1FBO

X-1FBO is a cloud FBO operations platform built by GMSTEK, LLC of Palmetto Bay, Florida. Its co-founder and CEO, Jim Wiley, ran an FBO as general manager and worked the line as a service technician before building the product, and the support team is staffed by former customer service representatives and line technicians. The company claims more than 1,900 users at FBOs worldwide and names Million Air Dallas, Clay Lacy Aviation, Cutter Aviation, Sheltair, Modern Aviation, ACI Jet, Jet Access, Naples Aviation, and Pentastar among its customers.

The system is organized around a single Request workflow: every arrival, departure, and service request lands in one queue that the front desk and the ramp both work from. Fuel operations are automated down to four button presses per fueling cycle with a rules-based pricing engine. Around that core sit named modules — X-1PAY for payments (direct debit, wireless card terminals, email invoice payment links), X-1 SinglePoint, a rugged Android app for line staff that shows live service requests, talks directly to the fuel truck for electronic fuel orders and immediate billing, updates fuel inventory in real time, and replaces radios with group messaging; X-1 Pilot, a crew-facing app that stores credit and contract-fuel cards as a digital wallet for tap-to-pay by QR code; and X-1 Shop, a self-checkout kiosk and app for the café and retail counter.

Accounting posts to the general ledger and accounts receivable on a schedule or on demand with rule-based routing by customer, payment method, or product, and syncs to QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, NAV, and GP, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct. Integrations include FlightBridge for trip requests, FuelerLinx for fuel management, AMSTAT for flight statistics, Avfuel and DLA AIR Card gateways for contract and government fuel, and the Titan Rewards loyalty program.
